Building work at the Monsenor

Last update, 30.10.2002 @ 19.00

We have just returned from the Monsenor and are pleased to be able to offer the very latest information regarding the building work.

Q. Where is the building work taking place?

A. The new apartments are being built directly below the Monsenor in Playa Del Cura and around the corner, most of which cannot even be seen.

Q. How much noise and dust will we have to put up with?

A. Now all the foundations are in place, no more drilling will take place and therefore, the noise and dust are at a minimum.

Q. Will the building works affect my stay in any way?

A. In our opinion, no. The works are visible from the lower level if you go and look at them. There is no noise or dust at the top of the Hotel and as this is where most people spend their time, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Q. When do the workmen start and finish?

A. They do start early, approx 7 AM, then have a siesta and continue to around 7PM, light permitting. Much of this will depend on what time of year you visit. They do not work at the weekend!

These FAQ’s are only a guide. We have tried to include as much information as possible. If you have a question, please feel free to contact us at the usual Email address.

There are 7 pictures below of the building works, some taken from Playa Del Cura and the others from the Hotel. We hope these will help you to understand the level of works taking place. Have a nice stay if you do decide to go there.
